*UPDATE: We have just been informed that due to the status of the investigation, the 17th District will not be able to answer questions about the homicide during tonight's CAPS meeting. They will still be answering questions regarding any incidents from Beats 1711 & 1712. We have requested to schedule a meeting as soon as they are ready to answer questions about this incident for the community, and we will share information on that as soon as possible.
